Acoustic Insulation

Acoustic Insulation
All our marine Acoustic composites are designed to reduce noise by absorption and insulation.  Because of a very safety conscious market the foams and facings have been tested to meet the "RCD" (recreational craft directive).  The facings have been selected for their ability to be resistant to most fuels and oils, but still acoustically transparent. The facings flexibility is an advantage when trying to manoeuvre the product into tight confined spaces as is often found in engine compartments. The black class "O"  non-flammable acoustic foam give you the added fire protection for more sensitive areas.  Using an acoustic barrier within the composite helps the insulation and reduces noise breakout from those noisy engine compartments.
